I had the great pleasure today of taking part in a networking seminar at Luomus, the Finnish Museum of Natural History, organized by my long-term friend and collaborator Aino Juslén, the Director of the Zoology Unit. This event brought together a diverse set of speakers interested in plant and animal biodiversity in Africa, including people working on plants, lichens, birds, fish, and flies. It was a pleasure to meet and interact with such an interesting group of people, and some new and exciting partnerships have been born! Funding was provided by the Finceal+ project.
