Our community phylogeny of the ferns of Florida has just been published in the American Journal of Botany! This is the first in what will hopefully be a series of papers that use community phylogenetics to explore and investigate drivers of species distribution and assembly for the ~150 species of ferns in the state of Florida. It is part of a special issue of AJB on “Using and Navigating the Plant Tree of Life”; the complete issue should be available shortly.
